What investment fees will be charged?

How to participate in this promotion?

If you:

(a) Successfully submit a one-time investment and/ or monthly investment instruction to subscribe for mutual fund(s) via the GoWealth Digital Advisory Services during the Promotion Period (the “Applicable Transaction”); and

After submission of such instruction, the investment amount accumulated for all Applicable Transaction(s) (the “Accumulated New Investment Amount”) reaches the designated amount in the following table (“Eligible Instruction”),

You can set up a designated GoSave 2.0 Time Deposit of one-month tenor with the New Fund^# deposited by you once during the Promotion Period (“Designated GoSave 2.0 Time Deposit”) by selecting the designated savings route under the GoSave section in the WeLab Bank app, which will be available no later than 2 working days after the placement of the Eligible Instruction to the day end of 30 September 2023.

The interest rate of the Designated GoSave 2.0 Time Deposit is 10%p.a., and the principal is capped at the maximum principal determined by your Accumulated New Investment Amount reached after the subscription of the Eligible Instruction^@ according to the above table.

How to calculate the Accumulated New Investment Amount?

We will calculate based on all of your successful submission of one-time investment and/ or monthly investment instruction(s) to subscribe for mutual fund(s) via the GoWealth Digital Advisory Services from 28 August 2023 until 3p.m. 11 September 2023 (HKT). If you have subscribed Investment Portfolio A of HKD 20,000 on 28 August 2023, and have subscribed Investment Portfolio B of HKD 40,000. The final Accumulated New Investment Amount is HKD 60,000, the Maximum Principal of Designated GoSave 2.0 Time Deposit is HKD 100,000.

Do we only accept new fund for Designated GoSave 2.0 Time Deposit under this promotion?

Yes, we only accept “New Fund” for Designated GoSave 2.0 Time Deposit. However, the Bank reserves the right at its sole discretion to accept non-New Fund for setting up the Designated GoSave 2.0 Time Deposit.

How is “New Fund” calculated? When do I need to deposit?

“New Fund” refers to the net growth of the Core Account balance as of the day end of 11 September 2023 as compared with that as of the day end of 27 August 2023 after deducting any amount withdrawn from the Core Account during the Promotion Period. The New Fund shall exclude funds from Time Deposit maturity, early partial or full withdrawal of Time Deposit, any deposit interest amount and cash rebate amount that is given by the Bank, and redemption amount of mutual fund investment.

When can I join the Designated GoSave2.0 Time Deposit?

The designated savings route will be available no later than 2 working days after the placement of the Eligible Instruction to the day end of 30 September 2023.
