WeLab Bank “R Friend Referral Campaign Lucky Draw Promotion” TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. By participating in this Promotion, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these Promotion terms and conditions.

2. Unless otherwise stated, this Promotion runs from 23 June 2021 to 30 September 2021 (Hong Kong Time) (both dates inclusive) (“Promotion Period”).

3. The Promotion is applicable to existing customers of Welab Bank Limited (“WeLab Bank”, “we”, “us” or “our”) who fulfil the below conditions:

3.1 has not terminated and/or closed his/her WeLab Bank account in the twelve (12) months prior to the commencement of this Promotion; and
3.2 has completed all the Tasks (as set out in Clause 4 below).

4. Existing customers who complete all the Tasks set out below at or before the cut-off time of each respective Lucky Draw (“Participants”, “you” or “your”) will automatically participate in such Lucky Draw:

5. WeLab Bank will hold a total of fourteen (14) lucky draws (the “Lucky Draws”) within the Promotion Period as set out below.

6. The cut-off time to participate for each Lucky Draw will be at 10 am (Hong Kong Time) and the result announcement time will be at 6 pm (Hong Kong Time) on the date of the Lucky Draw.

7. In each Lucky Draw, WeLab Bank will use computer to randomly select the winners (“Winners”) from the Participants. Each Winner is entitled to the respective prizes as stated below:

7.1 1st to 14th Lucky Draw(Weekly Lucky Draw): 100% spending rebate for all transactions made with his/her WeLab Debit Card (“Eligible Transactions”), capped at HKD5,000 (“Weekly Lucky Draw Spending Rebate”) between the date of the Notification Email until the last date of the subsequent third calendar month.
For example, if you receive the Notification Email on 8 July 2021, your Eligible Transactions made between 8 July 2021 to 31 October 2021 will be entitled to the Weekly Lucky Draw Spending Rebate.
7.2 14th Lucky Draw (Grand Prizes Lucky Draw): 100% spending rebate for all Eligible Transactions, capped at HKD100,000 (“Grand Prizes Lucky Draw Spending Rebate”) between the date of the Notification Email until the last date of the subsequent twelfth calendar month.

For example, if you receive the Notification Email on 5 October 2021, your Eligible Transactions made between 5 October 2021 to 30 November 2022 will be entitled to the Grand Prizes Lucky Draw Spending Rebate.

8. Each Participant will only be entitled to one Lucky Draw chance in each weekly Lucky Draw and will only be entitled to the Weekly Lucky Draw Spending Rebate once throughout this Promotion. Participants who have not become Winner(s) in a weekly Lucky Draw can participate in the next Lucky Draw by completing the Tasks in Clause 4 again.

9. All Participants will participate in the Grand Prizes Lucky Draw in the 14th Lucky Draw automatically. Each participant will only be entitled to one Lucky Draw chance in the Grand Prizes Lucky Draw and will only be entitled to the Spending Rebate once.

10. After each Lucky Draw, WeLab Bank will announce the Winners on our Official IG Account and Official FB Account at the result announcement time of the respective Lucky Draw according to Clause 6 above through IG Post and FB Post. You agree and acknowledge that if you are selected as a Winner, your IG username or FB name will be shown publicly in the IG Post on our Official IG Account and FB Post on our Official FB Account. WeLab Bank will verify your status as a Winner and your entitlement to the Spending Rebate through the information you provide in accordance with Clause 11 below.

11. You are responsible to check the announcement of Winners at the result announcement time according to Clause 6 above. The Winner must contact WeLab Bank and provide the following information to verify his/her entitlement to the Spending Rebate within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the result announcement time of the respective Lucky Draw according to Clause 6 above via direct message on IG or FB:

11.1 The Winner’s WeLab Bank Account Number

11.2 The Winner’s latest mobile number registered with us; and

11.3 The Winner’s latest email address registered with us.

12. After we have received a Winner’s direct message and verified his/her entitlement to the Spending Rebate, an email will be sent to the respective Winner via his/her latest email address registered with us to confirm the Winner’s entitlement to the Spending Rebate (“Notification Email”).

13. If a winner: (a) does not maintain a valid and active IG, FB and/or email account through which WeLab Bank could contact them on, (b) does not comply with these Promotion terms and conditions, and/or (c) does not provide the information or provides inaccurate and incomplete information requested in Clause 11, WeLab Bank has the right to: (a) disqualify the Winner, and/or (b) withhold the Spending Rebate from the Winner without prior notice.

14. There is no limitation on the type and amount of the transaction for each Eligible Transaction. The transaction time will be based on Hong Kong Time. If the transaction is made in a currency other than Hong Kong Dollars, the Spending Rebate will be calculated based on Hong Kong Dollars after conversion at the applicable exchange rate. The Spending Rebate amount will be rounded to the nearest cent.

15. If the total amount of Eligible Transaction(s) conducted by a Winner has exceeded the cap of the Spending Rebate, the exceeded amount of the eligible transaction(s) is not applicable to the Spending Rebate.

16. The equivalent Spending Rebate amount earned by a Winner for each calendar month will be credited into his/her WeLab Bank Core Account within 10 working days from the 1st day of the next calendar month.

17. If a Winner has subsequently cancelled or reversed any transactions (in full or partial amount) in respect of which the Spending Rebate amount has been credited to his/her Core Account, we reserve the right to debit the respective Spending Rebate amount directly from his/her Core Account without prior notice.

18. You agree and acknowledge that you cannot terminate and/or close your WeLab Bank account within the Promotion Period and in the twelve (12) months after the end of the Promotion Period. Otherwise, we shall not credit the Spending Rebate amount or where the Spending Rebate amount has been credited, we reserve the right to debit the amount from your Account (including but not limited to your Core Account) without notice and/or take such necessary legal action to recover any outstanding amounts.

19. The Spending Rebate cannot be transferred, returned, exchanged, or converted into other form, unless otherwise specified by WeLab Bank.

20. WeLab Bank shall not be liable for a Winner’s failure or inability to be entitled to the Spending Rebate whether due to a Winner not receiving communications or otherwise.

22. By redeeming the Spending Rebate according to Clauses 11 and 12 above, each Winner grants WeLab Bank full, global, royalty free and perpetual rights to take videos and/or photographs of the Winner and use the images resulting from the videography and/or photography, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for marketing and promotional and/or publicity purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, the right to use them in our printed and online publicity, social media and press releases.

23. WeLab Bank reserves the right to vary, modify and terminate this Promotion (including but not limited to the Promotion Period, the details of the Lucky Draw and the Spending Rebate) and to amend any of these Promotion terms and conditions at any time without any notice. In case of disputes in relation to this Promotion, WeLab Bank’s decision shall be final and binding.

24. Any breach of applicable laws or regulations, fraud, abuse and/or non-compliance by you (as determined at our sole discretion) will result in forfeiture of your eligibility to participate in this Promotion and entitle to the Spending Rebate and/or suspension or termination of all or any of your Account with us. We shall not credit the Spending Rebate or where the Spending Rebate has been credited, we reserve the right to debit the Spending Rebate from your Account (including but not limited to your Core Account) without notice and/or take such necessary legal action to recover any outstanding amounts.

25. These Promotion terms and conditions shall be read in connection with our Account Terms (the “Account Terms”) and the WeLab Bank R-Friend Referral Campaign Terms and Conditions. In the event of inconsistency between these Promotion terms and conditions and the Account Terms and/or the WeLab Bank R-Friend Referral Campaign Terms and Conditions, the prevailing order shall be as follows:

(i) these Promotion terms and conditions;

(ii) WeLab Bank R-Friend Referral Campaign Terms and Conditions; and

(iii) the Account Terms.

26. This Promotion is organized by Welab Bank Limited.

27. If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English and Chinese version, the English version shall prevail.
