When will I encounter two-factor authentication ? Why not using SMS OTP?
When you make card-not-present transactions, such as online purchases with WeLab Debit Card, to protect your account safety, starting from 28 January 2024, you will need to log in to WeLab Bank and use Biometric Authentication or Mobile Security Key to confirm the transaction. One time verification password will be temporarily disabled due to the system upgrade of the telecommunications service provider in progress.If you have not enabled biometric authentication or have forgotten your mobile security key, to ensure that you can purchase online more smoothly, please login to My account > Setting > Change mobile security key / Face ID to activate or reset the relevant services.For any questions, please contact our CS hotline at (852) 3898 6988.
